How does Muddy Booking pricing work?

Muddy Booking uses a simple, pay-as-you-go pricing model with no monthly fees.

We charge 1.5% of the booking value plus 25p per booking, subject to VAT.

For example, if a customer books a £10 session, the total fee would be just 40p + VAT (48p inc VAT).

That means you keep the majority of every booking, and only pay when you actually make sales.

We also refund you for any cancelled bookings, so you never pay for sessions that don’t happen.

There are no setup costs or hidden charges — just transparent pricing that scales with your business. Please note, card payments are facilitated by Stripe, who charge fees to process the payment (typically 1.5% + 20p for UK cards).

The Muddy team provides support with data migration, and you only pay transaction fees once bookings start coming in.

Will I lose my current bookings or customer information during the transition?

No. We can import your existing bookings and customer data.

This ensures a smooth transition without any disruption to your business or customers.

Do I need a website to use Muddy Booking?

Not at all. Muddy Booking gives you a professional, customizable booking page - Allowing you to take bookings without needing your own website.

However, if you have a website, you can easily integrate Muddy Booking into it, and we can help if needed.

Does Muddy Booking have a mobile app?

The system is fully mobile-optimized, and works smoothly on any smartphone or tablet for both field owners and customers.

What payment methods does Muddy Booking support?

Muddy Booking supports card payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
